Brittany Unhye Kramer, DO

Brittany Kramer, DO, is a dedicated and compassionate family medicine physician committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to people from all walks of life. She has a special passion for supporting pregnant patients through the JFK Family Medicine Centering Pregnancy Program, where those with similar due dates participate in group prenatal care. This program offers a unique blend of shared learning, support, and active involvement in their own healthcare.
Dr. Kramer completed her Family Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin-Columbia St. Mary's Family Medicine Residency Program. During her training, she gained hands-on experience in a variety of settings, from hospital care to outpatient clinics. She also specialized in maternity care, integrative medicine, and Medicine Assisted Treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders.
Prior to residency, Dr. Kramer earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Alongside her medical journey, she served as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve providing leadership in various capacities, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Kramer is passionate about giving back to the community. She co-founded Start Lighthouse, a nonprofit organization that works to promote literacy in the Bronx by creating home libraries and hosting literacy programs for families.
Dr. Kramer's diverse background and experiences bring unique strengths to her work. She is fluent in Korean, which helps her connect with patients across different cultures. Above all, she's an advocate for her patients, working to provide the resources and support they need to achieve their optimal health and well-being.
